Document request for British 

1. Passport 

2. Copy of Thai immigration 

3. Divorce Certificate ( If any ) 

4. Death Certificate ( If any ) 

5. Employment agreement or  Bank Statement 6 months

1. ID Card

2. Passport 

3. House registration 

4. Name Change certificate 

5. Divorce certificate ( If any ) 

6. Death certificate ( If any ) 

7. Birth Certificate 

* Original and 5 copies 

Step 1 : Make reservation with British embassy Click for reservation  ( Must make reservation 2 times ( one for The affirmation and 10-15 days after the affirmation for legalize married certificate )

Step 2 : Registration for Affirmation of freedom to marry at British embassy

1. Type Affirmation of freedom to marry click for download and sample  ( the form has to be typed. Handwritten forms are not acceptable) 

2. Submit affirmation form and Passport ( Original and copy both Thai and British)  to British embassy 

• Legalization fee 3,500 THB and pick up 9:00 next day

Step 3 : Translation and legalize the affirmation 

1. Pick up The Affirmation from the embassy 

2. Translation into Thai and Legalization the affirmation with Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs 

​

Step 4 : Marriage registration with district office 

1. two wiseness ( ID card )  

2. Prepare document

Step 5  : Translation and Legalization 

1. Translation Kor lor 2 , kor lor 3 into english and Legalize document with Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs 

2. Then legalize document with British embassy ( feed 2,850 THB ) and pick up next days
