List of the required documents

​

  1. Two recent, developed identity photos

  • Color photo on a white background

  • Format 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm

  • Taken from the front; without obstruction

  • Recent (less than 6 months old)

  • Ears and eyebrows must appear on the picture

  • The photo must be a close-up of your head and the top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70-80% of the photograph.

  2.  Passport (original) Passport (copy)

  • (Passport expiration date must be 15 months after the day you plan to leave Thailand and must contain at least two blank pages to affix visa)

  3. Old passports (original) Old passports (copy)

  • (If you are in possession of one or more previous passports, it is mandatory to bring all of them)

  • (Copies of the passport identity and pages having Schengen visas or stamps)

  4. Integral copy of the French marriage certificate issued in the last 2 months or transcription on the French civil    registrar

  • (Family book cannot be considered as copy of the French marriage certificate)

  • To obtain an integral copy of the French marriage certificate, please contact the French civil registrar where your marriage was registered either the civil registrar of the Embassy of France in the country where your marriage was registered or the civil registrar of the City hall in France where your marriage was celebrated.

 

  5.  Name change certificate, in case applicant’s name/surname is different between the passport and the French  

      marriage certificate

  6. Name change certificate, in case applicant’s name/surname is different between the passport and the French               marriage certificate (Translation) 

  7.  Proof of spouse’s French nationality

  • Proof of spouse’s French nationality (copy)

  • National identity card or French passport or citizenship certificate or copy of official document granting French nationality

  • Letter from the French citizen to confirm that they are living together, the visa application and the non-dissolution of the marriage.
